Another year of many Blessings !

How did I celebrate my birthday this year? Derrick was away to Hong Kong for business trip on my birthday, so we have decided to celebrate earlier. We had a simple lunch at Sakae Sushi AMK on Saturday. Derrance didn’t quite enjoy the lunch, he has gotten so sick of sushi. He wanted to eat “小籠包” instead, so I promised to bring him to 鼎泰豐 on my birthday. Derrick bought me a cake from Breadtalk, amazingly it tasted really good ! Derrance can’t wait to cut the cake, kept wishing me “Happy Birthday”, hoping to cut the cake immediately.

I brought the boys and mom to 鼎泰豐 on the eve of my birthday (sounds grand). Throughout the dinner, I find myself coping very hard to “feed” my two boys, they ate so fast and before I could eat my portion, they asked to refill their plates. I could only eat after they were full ! Mom didn’t quite enjoy the food, she prefers Crystal Jade. I have to rush through the dinner as the boys wanted to move on to next door; Swensen for desserts! Fortunately, the queue was quite long, I managed to talk them to change venue. We had ice-cream and milk shakes at McDonald instead..phew…$$$ saver !

Nothing much today , just ferry the boys thru and fro school and enrichments. When all the classes ended, it’s also time for all of us to sleep. Although it’s just a simple birthday celebration, but it’s really great. Just enjoyed being with the boys and family. Derrance has been wishing me “Happy Birthday Mommy…” throughout the day, he is just so so lovable! He made me feel so special throughout the day, though we didn’t celebrate today, I seriously don’t mind, cos my birthday is surrounded with all my dearest.

The past 1 year has been fruitful. My 3 Ds (Derrick, Derrius & Derrance) are wonderful, my parents are well, what more can I ask? Thank God for the many the blessings and hope the years ahead are even better. Thanks my friend, for remembering my birthday and for all the well wishes !

Moments of S T R E S S !

It's a week of exams and tests for Derrius. The week started off with his Violin Grade One exam.
He had his Violin Grade One ABSM Exam on Monday 24 August 09. When his Violin's teacher; Joy told us that the exam was brought forward to August, I was like..."Oh mine, hope his CA2 won’t crash with his Violin exam!". Was praying and hoping for his CA2 Exam schedule to be out soon. To my pleasant surprise, the Violin exam just falls 1 day ahead of all his CA2 test dates....phew...what a relief! Thank God ! As this was his first time taking the exam, we seriously have no idea what to expect, until nearer to date, Derrius told me that he needed to play 3 pieces, scaling and sight reading for his Grade One exam. He has chosen Fanfare, Waltz and Dance to your Daddy for the exam. The night before, he suddenly asked me, what happen if he fails? He has always been a very confident boy but not this time, he must be very worried. Comforted him, as long as he do his best, I am happy. The next day, I sent him to Cristofori Funan for exam, he seemed fine and after the exam, he told me that he could get a “D” result….i.e Distinction! wahaha… the usual Confident Derrius is back !

He had his English paper the next day. Told me that the paper was easy and on the same day, the teacher went through the Grammar MCQ with them, he got them all correct. He has always been very strong in his Grammar! Well done, son!

He had his Math’s CA2 paper on Wednesday. As usual, he will always tell me that the paper is easy. Let’s see ! I know he has always wanted to score Full marks for his Math’s paper and I can tell that he has worked real hard to achieve this goal. His CA1 and SA1, he just fell short of 3 points, and they were actually careless mistakes !! He scored full marks for his English MCQ. 50/50. :)

He had his GEP test on Friday. I tried asking him on how the papers was like, he just refused to answer me, kept telling me , “I have forgotten, too many questions, not easy but I can do all of them.”. Well, can I trust him? He will always tell me positive things about his exam but sometime I really wonder is he trying to “shut me up”, so that he can have few days of peace before we face the reality ...haha…As long as he do his best, I am happy, whether he make it to or not, it’s really his own ability.

Finally he had his Science test on Monday, again he told me it was easy. He scored Full marks for his Chinese MCQ i.e 40/40. Well done again Derrius ! Now am just waiting for his final marks and that is my real STRESSSSSSSS......I am so scared to fetch me home from school , so scared to see his disappointed face (if he didn't do well) and of cos happy to see him smiling (if he did well) ....I am worried !!!
Just then when I thought I can relax abit, his SA2 is on the way again…. another 36 days to his Paper 1; Oral and Composition exam….I am S T R E S S E D again………

Never been so speechless before !

What a shame? Never felt so shameful being a Singaporean before until I met those two shameless father and daughter! They made all the Singaporeans pei sei!

A specky woman came to me this morning asking if there's a meeting room available for her? After some checking, found a room but could only be available in 15mins time. She asked for the rental price and I informed her accordingly. Guess what she said? "Can it be cheaper or don't charge lor since no one occupy the room!". Inside my heart, I was thinking what the crap, she wasn't even our in-house guest, don't even know where she pop out from, still got the cheek to ask for F R E E!!! She rudely left her name and mobile no. for us to contact her once the room was ready and just walked towards the lift without even looking at us! The name "Michelle" and her lofty behaviors reminds me of a recent unpleasant incident whereby a log-entry was entered because a dirty rude old man touches some ladies on our level. Decided to give her a call to obtain her Company's name, to my shockness, she refused to reveal and kept asking me "Why, why you want to know, what Company name should I call huh, up to you lor, you give an anyhow Company name lor?". In the end, she came up with "SIA", I repeated the name and she said "Up to you!!" and put down my phone. 10mins later, the group of 8s, turned up, all carrying loads of files, and lastly a "grey-haired monster" turned up, before he entered the room, he asked if the tea is free, just get him a pot of "Free" tea, then he asked for "curry pok", and on and on, I just can't help but wanted to leave the meeting room,, when suddenly he shouted "Hey girl, I am talking to you, don't leave!" What the Sh**!? , I stopped for a while, and this time round, he asked for a sofa to be placed in the meeting room cos he claimed that his leg is sore, he needs a sofa to rest his legs! Told him we don't have and I will see if I could find a cushion chair for him, then I proceeded to leave the meeting room...Again that irritating voice shouted "Hey Girl, why are leaving again, call your GM, I need to feedback to him!". I was so furious but I kept my cool, I walked to GM's office and started looking for him since that Dirty Old Monster wanted to talk to him. Know what??? That stupid dirty old man didn't expect me to have actually called our GM. When he saw our Angmoh GM, his attitude changed 360 degrees, suddenly behaved like a Saint!!! Goodness me !!!! Our GM didn’t want to let them off, he kept pestering them for the Company's name and told them that we have called SIA to check on them. On hearing that, that old man's face changed and started to blast at his daughter (tat rude specky Michelle women) on why she gave such a Company's name. She started to scream and yell trying to defend herself and started to push the blame to me saying that I was the one that force her into saying "SIA"...goodness her???? All I could hear was her yelling and her father shouting, "Michelle, SHUT UP, give them the name card.....and SHUT UP....SHUT UP.....SHUT UP.....!!!". What kind of family is that, both father and daughter just behave badly! Full of yelling, screaming and unpleasant words towards each others. Worst of all, the staff in the meeting just wasn't bothered with all the dramas, they just worked on the Laptop as if nothing had happen. They were not in anyway shocked, lost or pei sei with their Bosses' behaviors, but rather it seemed to me that that is something so usual, or maybe very common in their eyes. Oh..*faint*

The meeting finally ended, the specky Michelle women, came to the counter to settle the bill, again she started to scream and yell. Accusing me again and this time round, kept slamping the table. Decided to ignore her , I just proceeded with my paper work until that STUPID IDOITIC DOM, shouted "Michelle, Shut Up, you should know what LEVEL of people you are talking to?". When I heard that, I was very very ANGRY, he insulted all of us, the Service Staff! I was so speechless...not because I do not know what to say but rather I CANNOT say ! I would have asked her to GO HOME !! Get her parents to teach her manners before she is "being released" to the public to misbehave herself... BUT of cos, her father has to be taught FIRST before teaching her daughter !! Because I am in Service line, many a times, we just have to swallow humble pie and I also do not agree with their behave, so I would not want to behave like them! I know better how I should behave!! Later I found out that they pride themselves so much being a Singaporean because they thought we are all foreigners, that's why we cannot meet up to their standards....for a moment I felt very sad because they brought all of us SHAME !!!!! Is that the way we behave as Singaporean? Are we being too proud of ourselves ????

Am I Wrong?

I was very very angry this morning when QiQi told me that Ryan was in my mom's house because he had a fever. The Childcare he attends, does not allow him to go to the centre and his parents got no choice but to damp him at my mom's place !! I just cannot understand why my brother and sis-in-law are always so irresponsible!! Can't either of them take Urgent leave to bring their kid to the doctor and stay at home 1 day to look after him? Both my sons are also in my parents house, did they spare a thought for me & my children? My elder son will be having his CA2 the follow weeks and I am already stress out, I don't want Derrius to fall sick!!! This CA2 comprises 20% of his overall results, he top the class in his mid-year and I am so scared that don't make it again end of the year, his classmates are really very strong and I know he wanted to maintain it very much. He will CRY if he don't make it, that's why I am very stress. He got dis-hearted easily and that's something I am very worried.
QiQi twisted his neck and already feeling a bit warm, I am also very scared & worried ! I was very upset, decided to take urgent leave to bring all my kids home after their school. The thing that made me extremely angry was, i have already reached my work place, changed, ready to start work and the next moment...I need to rush back !!!! Can't the selfish couple called my mom earlier to inform? They won't !! Cos they know my parents will definitely forbid them to come, so they are clever, just send their boy to the door step and there's nothing my parents can do!! Remembered the last time, his son had hand foot mouth disease, they left their 8years old boy alone at home and gone to work. My parents were so worried that in the end, my poor dad had to accompany the boy at his house for 1 week!! This time round, I have decided to sms her about my anger and displeasure, i told her that I have taken 1 day urgent leave because his son is sick and I do not want my kids to fall sick too. My mom came to know about it and she got very upset with me, am I wrong to tell my sis in law how I feel? Do I need to live with their nonsense and keep quiet so that next time, ignorantly they can do it again? I know I have upset both my parents but if I am not happy over certain things, I will voice out and am quite direct and vocal about it. What's the point of getting upset and grumble all the time? Fix the problem and life goes on !! I know alot people cannot stand me but I would rather choose to speak out , if they don't like me, let it be, cos I know I am not a hypocrite !!

Somehow Somewhat !

Derrius is becoming very naughty nowsaday. Is it because he mix with wrong friends or he has grown up? He used to be very quiet and timid but nowsaday he does things that surprises or shock us. He would kick his brother, spoil his toys and throw away his things. When I scold him, he would cheekily smile. I am so so so so angry {flames & smokes all over me>...how ??? Academically wise, his results are still acceptable. His recent CA3 tests, he scored 17/20 for English & Maths 18/20. I did not really scold him cos his form teacher was on almost 1 weeks MC due to Congitivities ??!! thus not much revision was done before their tests. I have to burn mid-night oil with him the night before. Sometimes I really wonder, he became naughty izzit because he wants our attention? He must have felt that every one's attention is on his brother QiQi, ppl has been praising how clever, how adorable he is and that's why he is being naughty with him.

Happy 42nd Birthday !!

Our National Flag
The national flag is Singapore's most visible symbol of statehood, symbolising our sovereignty, pride and honour. It reflects the ideals, beliefs and values that we stand by as a nation amidst our rich and diverse make-up. It forms a crucial element of our national identity. As such, the national flag is to be treated with dignity and honour.

Its Origin
The national flag was unveiled on 3 December 1959, together with the state crest and the national anthem, at the installation of the new Head of State, the Yang di-Pertuan Negara. It was created by a Committee led by then Deputy Prime Minister, Dr Toh Chin Chye. It replaced the Union Jack, which had flown over Singapore for 140 years (1819-1959). Upon Singapore's independence in 1965, it was adopted as Singapore's national flag.

Its Meaning
The flag consists of two equal horizontal sections, red above white. In the upper left section are a white crescent moon, and five white stars forming a circle. Each feature of the flag has its own distinctive meaning and significance. Red symbolises universal brotherhood and equality of man. White signifies pervading and everlasting purity and virtue. The crescent moon represents a young nation on the ascendant. The five stars stand for the nation's ideals of democracy, peace, progress, justice and equality.

I am Not a Plastic Bag !

Designer Anya Hindmarch’s "I am not a plastic bag" quickly sold out in London in a matter of hours months before being released. The bag retailed for 5 pounds in the UK but quickly fetched $400 US on Ebay. There are plenty of the bags on eBay and I've seen some that are going for a few hundred USD. Not to mention, there are plenty of fakes on eBay for this bag as well.
Momo and I hope to get one before it launches in South East Asia. We called the one and only Anya Hindmarch’s shop in Singapore and were told that they have all been reserved. The management does not encourage queues , the 100 pcs limited edition grey version will be sold to those on waitlist since February on 5th July and it's retailing at S$65.00. The next launch will be on the 18th July at the On Pedder shop Singapore, again they have all been reserved. Samantha told me that in Hong Kong, it was crazy, Anaya Hindmarch's shops were crowed with maids and youngsters, only those who gotten a coupon gets to purchase. Many people were angry and frustrated. The bag were sold at HK$120.00 per piece.

Our only hope is with Serena now, Japan will be launching a limited edition green version on the 14th July 2007 in Anya Hindmarch Ginza Store, Isetan and Dover Street Market in Tokyo. Hopefully she gets but again it's HOPEFULLY…..

Boring June Holidays !

I called it a boring holidays! Not sure if my kids feel the same. Didn't bring them to anywhere though was on leave for 5 days. The only place I brought them to was the Explorer kids in NTUC Pasir Resort, the rest of the time, they stayed at home watching DVDs and playing with PSP games.

Felt rather guilty when I read Derrius's composition yesterday. His teacher asked them to write a compo on "My school holidays" and all he wrote was "I played PSP during my holidays, it was fun. I watched my dad played PSP...I played PSP almost everyday...and so on". All was about PSP and DVDs. I know i should not be giving him gamestations to play juz to keep him occupied but I have no where and no time to bring him out. I muz really plan something for them this end December holidays, maybe some holiday classes...Oops...they're gonna be mad..

" Yummy yummy...I need to eat before we play ! "

Oops...I can't talk !!

Ready for their monkey acts

QiQi was Smiling :) with his eyes closed ! Muz be very happy !

Taking a break !

Sharing a cup of Blue Coral bubble tea after their games

P-Plate No More !

Today is my official "P-plate" No more day!
The reason for displaying the plate is to alert other motorists to look out for probation driver ahead, be more forgiving and generous about road space when around new drivers but it is always being interpreted as : "Look out, probation driver ahead, can bully !". It's quite frustrating that these road bullies like to cut into your lane without signalling or will just shiver their cars around . Sometimes they even shine their head lamp to "Warn" you. But I am not a nice driver too, i won't allow them to cut into my lanes abruptly, I will follow the car in front very closely, not giving them any chance and if they knock onto my car, pay me for the repair !

Dad's Day

Faithful
Always there
Trustworthy
Honoring
Ever-loving
Righteous
Supportive

It is so easy to forget to tell people how important they are to us, especially our parents. Throughout the years, I have learnt to appreciate them more.

Recently Dad fell sick and I was rather worried. His red and white blood cells fall below the average range and was referred to SGH for a thorough check up. He has insisted that I follow him, I guess he felt more at ease and comfortable with me around rather than my two brothers. He is due for another check up and will get his blood test results sometime in August, I guess he should be alright since the Hospital did not call us, cross my fingers.
This father's day was rather quiet. Both my brothers, as usual don't bother. The elder said, "I am having bad cough, cannot come over." The second gave the excuse that everytime he asked my parents out for dinner, they would reject his offer so he did not ask this time. Sometimes parents just want their kids to show concern or ask even though they feel that all these celebrations are just not necessary. They feel shiok to know that their kids care !! But of course, I am genuine.. *wink* . We gave him a red packet as Father's day gift, same as mum on Mother's Day.

We have decided to "ta pao" and eat in, since dad doesn't have good appetite. Brought some fried chicken and chicken rice for dinner yesterday, was glad that everyone enjoyed the dinner.

With This Ring I Thee Wed

The Legend of the Wedding Band

In a fair and far off country many centuries ago, a kind young King was married to a princess he loved so.Together they lived happily until one day their nation's worst enemy would force the King to travel far away. One night before he left, as he walked throughout the palace grounds, He tossed into a moonlit pool some pebbles that he had found.
As the lovely ripples widened from where the little pebbles fell; The King stood thinking quietly of the wife he loved so well.
And remembering the next day the surface he had seen, He had a gold ring made to fit the finger of the Queen.

"There is no Ending or Beginning to the circle on this band," The King said to his wife, as he slipped it on her hand.
"And that's why I have chosen this golden ring To be a pledge to you that my love will last through all Eternity."And so, since then, a gold ring has been the symbol Of beauty, devotion, and the endlessness of Love.May all the Love and Happiness you two have found together, Like the circle of the wedding band, go on and on forever."

I couldn't find my wedding band yestereday's morning just before I leave my house for work. I was so worried that I almost turn my drawer upside down, inside out. My mind kept thinking : "Where, where, how, how? I need to go to work but my ring is gone, how, Dear is going to be very upset if I lost the ring!!". The only hope is to check with my maid if she has found it cos sometimes I will remove and just leave it on top the washing machine when I wash my hands or face. Her answer is "No". I was like "Shit, that's my wedding ring, you know, it's been with me for 11years and 3months, and now I have lost it??!!" Suddenly, I remembered, could I have placed it in my jeans skirt yesterday? Quickly I retrieve my soaked skirt, and found my ring in the pocket. Phew…was so happy. I must have put it in the pocket yesterday when I was removing the bird shit on my car, I didn't want it to get stained but instead I nearly misplaced it. How ironical. I am getting very forgetful, I can practically forget things that happen 5 mins ago; the process of me putting the ring in my pocket, totally erased !

I have always asked Dear to buy another sets of wedding bands since it's 10 years old but he has always insist that that cannot be changed cos they are the Originals and my finger did not grow fatter, the more there's no reason to change. Moreover they are custom made, full Platinum and cost us quite a bit when we first bought them. Dear got his ring enlarged 5 years ago when it became very tight, the sales person told me that it cannot be enlarged anymore, so stay put Dear, don't put on anymore weight.

Both the rings ever went missing 10 years ago. We went to Wellington New Zealand for holidays and were staying with my mom's friend then, both the rings went missing one day. We told my mom and her friends about it and the next day the rings were placed nicely on the writing desk. Her teenage son actually ' took' them. We were quite shocked , but didn't want to make a big fuss out of it since they were found and also didn’t want to embarrassed my mom's friend.

I remember on our ROM day after exchanging the vow: "In token & pledge of our constant faith & abiding love, with this ring, I marry you.", Dear actually wore his ring on my finger and me not realizing anything, still happily wore it, when came to my turn to wear the ring for him, I tried to squeezed mine to his finger. He must have felt pain or thought he had put on weight overnight !

"May all the Love and Happiness We have found together, Like the circle of the wedding band, go on and on forever."

Sayonara Lela

"Goodbyes will always hurt, pictures never replace having been there, memories, good or bad, will bring tears and words can never replace those feelings."

Today is Lela's last day at work! I am really sad *sob sob*, she is the longest colleague and staff I have ever worked with. Though sometimes cannot stand her "dili daliness", but she is one of the best Malay colleagues i have ever met so far. We have gone through alot of nonsense, changes and met many weird colleagues and staff, but we survived. Throughout the years, I became too comfortable with her that i began to take her for granted. I tend to believe that she is the least i need to worry, but I am wrong. The talk that we had few weeks ago made me feel terrible.
Hope she is more nasty and not so nice so that I can just tell her : "Good Bye and don't forget to clear all your things in your tray before you leave !!."

I hope she has made the right choice and wish her well from the bottom of my heart. She has promised to invite us to her house during Hari Raya Pusa but knowing her, she will probably sms us only on that day. Well that's her...I will just call her or self invite instead. Take care my fren!

My new gadget !

Finally bought the new Palm Treo 680. Was contemplating whether or not to buy for quite sometime since there isn't much difference between Palm Treo 650 & 680. Currently I am using Palm 650 but I just like the new 680, it's sleeker and comes without an antenna ! I have been using Palm Treo mobile phone since they launch their first Palm Treo 600. We paid about S$900.00 then for that set and since then, i have love to use Palm phone. Dear told me to buy since I like it and it's only selling at S$699.00 during the recent PC show. Moreover it comes with a free 2 GB SD card, a silicon case and 1 additional battery. After much thought, decided to get it.

The entire Suntec and Marina area were packed with cars and people. Luckily I drove my car with Millenia Walk decal on my front screen, the security guard allowed us into the carpark... phew.....

When we reached Suntec Convention Centre, it was packed with people! Everyone was going to the PC show! You just need to stand and people from the back will push you from behind. We looked out for the Palm logo and went straight to the counter. The sales girl was quite helpful before we bought the set but after we paid the money, she just disappeared !! She cannot be bothered to open and explain to us, simply passed us the paper bag and zoooooomm she left. We did not bothered to look for her cos the whole place was so stuffy and packed, we just wanted to leave that place as soon as possible !! If not because it comes with additional SD card and battery, I wouldn't go !

Dinner at NYDC

My irritating Sis-In-Law

How could they do that?? Cannot agree with my brother and his wife's act. Mom was away this few days and I have to take leave to look after my kids and send Derrius to classes. My "no-cheek" sis-in-law simply go to work (or maybe go shopping which she always lied???!!!) left her two sons and maid at home. Ryan called my dad at 12:30pm today asking him to buy nasi-lemak and noodles for them. I was quite shock, what are they taking my dad as? On call delivery man? Can't their parents take care of them, if not can't their parents have the courtesy to inform my dad in advance? They have been preaching self independence, have been "threathing" my parents that they want to send their kids to the childcare and they can handle their kids well, so what now??? My mom is only away for THREE days and they can't even take care of their own problem? My that good for nothing sis in law, should be thankful to have such good parents in law, everything is done for her, she still have the cheeks to say things behind my mom's back!! She is so STUPID to have said that to my auntie (i.e my mom's sis). She used to be stupid, guillible and dumb which people tends to forgive her acts, but now she has grown "older' in her brain, she has since hated by people around her, which is ME.

Mothers

"A permanent full time job is being a MOTHER ! You cannot resign and there is no part-time post. Mothers, a special person, who is there for her child through Sacrifices, Love and Pain, giving out unconditional Love, everlasting devotion. For all the wonderful Mothers...Happy Mothers' Day!"

It's really great to receives handmade mother's day cards from them...though you know their teachers helped them but you just like it !! Derrance gave the card to me on Friday, calling out to me : "Mommy mommy, little flowers for you." He is just so sweet !!

We had dinner at Beppu Menkan, a japanese noodle restaurant in Far East Square. We have chose to eat there because we know everywhere will be busy and packed with sons, daughters and mothers celebrating Mothers Day. True enough, it's rather quiet on Sunday nights, Derrick & I just love their spicy noodles. We will always order noodles with four portion of chillies, the waitress will remind us that it's going to be super duper Spicy, we know, it's just so shiok even if we have to sweat like nobody busy , face turns red and tongue numb, we are still eating it!
We went to Swensen at Bugis junction after the dinner cos 80% of their deserts in the menu list were out of stock??!!! How can?? Anyway, we enjoyed our ice-creams at Swensen, my maid kept telling me : "Madam, very nice leh" Of course lah...Shiok!!

Happy Birthday Derrance QiQi!

QiQi turned Three today ! We took off today so that we could celebrate his birthday in school with him. We surprised him by appearing in his school with cakes and party packs during his tea break. He was so surprise that he kept looking at us, wondering why we were there. When we took out the cakes, he was overjoyed! It was a Power Ranger cake !! All the kids just crowd around the cake, for a moment the class turned into a mini "zoo". The kids liked the cake so much that they kept coming back for second serving. These little boys and girls can really wallops when come to sweet and yummy food (The cake tastes delicious with plenty of creams and strawberry). I was thinking that 1.5Kg cake is kind of too big for his 15 little friends, to my horror they actually finished three quarter of it !!!

Derrick went back to office after that and we continued our celebration. I brought him to Swensen in Bishan Junction 8 after his school. He ordered a Omelette Overboard (Ham & Cheese omelette) from the kids menu and I ordered a birthday ice-cream for him. He sang birthday songs (in english & mandarin) to himself when the ice-cream was brought to him. He seemed to know he could get things from me on his birthday, he actually brought me to a candy stall and insisted that I buy him a 1M long balloon for him, after much "negotiation" he settled for a mini Elmo balloon. Phew....

We had another celebration with the family members at night. The cake was beautiful... A Ultraman Cake i ordered from Creative Cake. Everyone loved the cake as it was indeed very nicely made. ShuQing and Dinah came over after work and was quite shock to see how fast the entire process of cake cutting ended. The kids went crazy, they started digging and whipping the cakes before we could stop them. We just have to cut and sing birthday songs as fast as possible before the cake damage.

Happy Labour Day !

Derrius came back from school yesterday telling me that Labour Day is a Public holiday for people who had worked hard. He has worked 'real' hard so he does not need to go to school today. I told him I will be working cos I am a lazy pig. Haha

Derrance was having slight fever yesterday night. He complained stomach pain in the evening and we all thought that he was hungry. Kept feeding him with food. He will be turning 3 this coming May 18. Is it part of growing up process? The "pan tang" thinggy? I remembered Derrius had high fever on his 1st and 6th Birthdays and now's Derrance's turn? I hate it when they fall sick..it means another few sleepless nights for me again... I would need two alarm clocks, one set to ring every 4 hours to measure their temperature and give them medicine, the other to wake me up for work. Poor thing right? I just wouldn't want to take chance.

The so called "hardworking"boy. This pic was taken on his First day of school. A Gabrielite !
"Ah Pui" and "Ah Shan" fighting show. Look at the cheeky boy!

What a Mess?

Have been busy for the last few days that I have somehow neglected my two boys. I was so forgetful that I have overlooked Derrius's Golf lesson in School last Thursday, did not gave him enough monies for lunch and did not pack his golf accessories in his bag, luckily he remembered and brought some of the items with him that morning. Maybe I should 'forget' and get him to do it himself. I am still packing his school bag for him daily, just not too comfortable leaving it to him, am I too protective or what? When can he do it and do it properly...? He is very particular on how he wants his things to be done but yet he is quite messy. I trust that he can do it but just cannot tolerate his messiness! I will scold him if his bag is messy...and boys would be boys...he wouldn't C A R E !! My little boy..Derrance...yet to be define!

Dad's Seventy Two

Dad turned 72 two days ago , a date picked by my grandfather. ! He was adopted when he was about 2 to 3 years old. Kept wondering when was his actual birthdate?? Could it be next month..following months... or could it be last month or ??? Anyway, doesn't matter, as long as he is happy, good and most impotantly... HEALTHY, who cares? He looks after his health very well, takes plenty of supplements and goes to the doctor for the slightest problem. Dad loves both my kids, especially QiQi...who really knows how to make him happy. He fetches Derrius to & fro school and that's the least I need him to help, don't wanna disturb him too much, he should be enjoying and relax himself at this age..

Here we come...Explorer Kids !

Finally....brought Derrius & Derrance to the "Explorer Kids" in NTUC Pasir Ris Resort this March School holidays ! Both of them enjoyed themselves so much that they kept talking about it almost every day ! Shall bring them more often to this new "playground" ! Can "force" my little "Ah Pui" to exercise and lose some weight....provided he skips his favourite Ben & Jerry's vanilla ice-cream after that. Derrius is getting fatter and fatter ever since he goes to Primary One. Thot he would lose weight due to longer school hours and extra activities but instead he put on F.A.T.S.....OMG...maybe I should put his daddy and him on some running programs...as for QiQi, eat more & move less..pleaseee. Both of them are so different, one jumps & run too much, the other.. juz refuse to move.
