Designer Anya Hindmarch’s "I am not a plastic bag" quickly sold out in London in a matter of hours months before being released. The bag retailed for 5 pounds in the UK but quickly fetched $400 US on Ebay. There are plenty of the bags on eBay and I've seen some that are going for a few hundred USD. Not to mention, there are plenty of fakes on eBay for this bag as well.
Momo and I hope to get one before it launches in South East Asia. We called the one and only Anya Hindmarch’s shop in Singapore and were told that they have all been reserved. The management does not encourage queues , the 100 pcs limited edition grey version will be sold to those on waitlist since February on 5th July and it's retailing at S$65.00. The next launch will be on the 18th July at the On Pedder shop Singapore, again they have all been reserved. Samantha told me that in Hong Kong, it was crazy, Anaya Hindmarch's shops were crowed with maids and youngsters, only those who gotten a coupon gets to purchase. Many people were angry and frustrated. The bag were sold at HK$120.00 per piece.

Our only hope is with Serena now, Japan will be launching a limited edition green version on the 14th July 2007 in Anya Hindmarch Ginza Store, Isetan and Dover Street Market in Tokyo. Hopefully she gets but again it's HOPEFULLY…..
